Where have YOU been?

Anyone notice I dropped off the face of the planet for a year?  Anyone?  Mom?

Well.  Hurumph.  I did.  And I have very good reasons for it.

If you'll allow me:

Boom.  I was growing a human inside of me.  Reason enough?  I thought so.

P.S. Strictly in the interest of keeping it real, you should know that I had to replace the above picture TWICE.  My dear best friend pointed out the mistake when I posted it as 11:52 PM the first time.  I was all, "I'm the worst mother ever!  Why did God entrust me with this poor helpless soul?  Aaaaughhhh!"  Then I promptly replaced it with 11:52 AM.  Bless her little heart.  Jamie texted me again, and said I might want to try one more time.  

Sigh.

Your mother loves, you Silas.  Just know that.  I hope I remember his name when he's six months old...
